Which motor? The one in the magracing car?
Very hard to do. Supercapacitors can be charged more quickly than batteries, hence their use in pitstop-type scenarios. The only problem is having conductors stout enough to hold the current.

Very nice! I'll be interested to see how you plan to do it. Have you checked your PMs?Joel, LeNoir wrote:
anti-collision ...... I have figured out how to do this. Well not anti-lane change collion. But anti-rear ending. Will do a topic about this soon...

I like the trees and guardrails and color scheme.....I bet when you guys get reverse working with the new mods the tracks will be Marshall-free!

Re: Auto-Charged Super Capacitor Technology
VERY interesting. Got some pics of some caps? Would solve quite a few problems I am finding placing batteries in my 66-68 can-am cars. Not so easy placing a full interror & a battery. No battery at all I like. Caps could be placed as space is avallible. Pit or run out of "gas" I love....

Re: Auto-Charged Super Capacitor Technology
Here is a great read on the subject: http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/whats_the_role_of_the_supercapacitor Looks like a supercapacitor coupled to a DC to DC converter would be able to possibly give a few minutes run time before needing recharge, and would have a near infinite charge cycle ...

Re: Auto-Charged Super Capacitor Technology
I was thinking out loud, the solution would likely be much more complex, as capacitors store a certain amount of charge when a certain voltage is placed across them, assuming no current limitations. The problem is one of discharging them at a constant, or near constant voltage, like a battery does. ...

Re: Hi everyone!
Very interesting using paint. That's a big track! Will it have the lake in it like at Daytona? I imagine it will have the serious banking that Daytona has as well? It can make the outside lane the fastest, with it's banking. I have always thought of building a track that has a smaller flat section i...

Re: Auto-Charged Super Capacitor Technology
Would be very good for short races with pit stops, if the caps are large enough, you can literally hear them reach full charge (remember old flash units? Same thing). People who didn't stop would literally 'run out of gas' on the track, would make for VERY INTERESTING racing. Best part is no need fo...

Yes, have stopped by the magracing website, very nice.
