Re: KK-CH01-24scale-New-motorpod

Hi Kim, I was looking at your new "motor pod" 1/24/scale. I admire your talent for functional design . That really looks good. the rear motor setup is pretty cool also. I like the rear axle bushings. Some of my older mag racer chassis have excessive clearence in the axle holes due to wear....

Re: KK-CH01-24scale-WB108mmx75mm chassis

RIDE HIGHT; For my application , 1970s "Stockcars" on a scale 1/4 mile oval, more clearence is desireable. The original chassis Wes Rayner design could bottom out on certain places on my track, especially on the infield. sometimes being stranded. The larger dia. wheels of 1/24 scale will b...

1/24 scale conversion. Currently have 17 running chassis that I need to convert to 1/24th scale. I will use the existing hardware {except wheels]. Do you think Shapeways could scale up some bases for me . Recently bought 2 CK2 chassis. Thanks ,Ken

Re: Latest News from Magnetic Racing

Good to hear from you Wes. Yes my address is the same. 5-6 spare pinions would do . let me know the cost. The only pinion I could find close was old "Aurora" HO scale hardware. Had to glue it on the shaft to keep it from spinning. Bought some new 10440 batteries and the power up problem in...

Re: Latest News from Magnetic Racing

Hello "mag racers" My scale 1/4 mile oval motordrome has been in unheated storage for 2 years. the 4 modular track sections have had no visible distortion. only the grass infield in the very center of the oval suffered a little warping. The track is set up in my back yard under a 20' by 10...

Re: Magracing under new management

Hello Helium Frog, Been very busy this summer, Sorry for not keeping abreast of the new developments. Yes ,I believe detailed body shells are more attractive to potential customers. Many have not the time nor the skill to finish their bodies. However, unfinished shells should still be offered, at a ...

Re: F1 Stockcar racer

Yes fellas, The simple small oval is the easiest to learn to drive on. My scale 1/32 quarter mile motordrome can be driven on the racing "groove" by only using the throttle. Thus saving the battery. I'm still waiting for some real race drivers to try out this track. I did help out in the p...

Re: Suggestions Sought for New Chassis Design

To Ned Your new adjustable chassis is "right on track". However, the 3.375 max wheelbase will only be good enough for about 35% of the bodies that I currently have. My bodies are all vintage American stock cars from 1940 thru 1998. Most 60's musclecars wb are 3.5". The wb for 55 Buick...
