Re: track building

The Magnetic Racing electronics have additional outputs with which we could flash an led for infra red lap timing. As others have said adding laptiming would only require a few soldered parts. The firmware would need updating also. The reason I haven't included it yet is that I am working on a compl...

Re: Availability of Cars

Hello

We have a few chassis available on ebay at the moment. These are the adjustable ones. We are also in the process of producing a new batch of fixed chassis which will be available soon along with the bodies.

Re: Where to buy cars/kits?

Hello Gents Sorry for not responding earlier. We have been very busy with the building side of the business at the moment. We haven't made a new batch of cars as the demand for these is extremely low. In fact we have had very few enquiries at all in the last three months so this ins't a priority at ...

Re: Three Chassis with Different Transmitters and Electronic

The Deltang receivers are good, but there may be a few issues with them. DSM2 protocol is no longer legal for sale in the UK (DSMX is OK though if I remember rightly). Also have a look at the transmitters as sometimes these are more expensive then the flysky variety. The major problem with them thou...

Re: Three Chassis with Different Transmitters and Electronic

Thanks Ned this is an excellent comparison for the possible radio options. The Magnetic Racing board doesn't have braking at all, so I am guessing the motor generates back emf or something which slows the motor down more quickly and feels like braking. There is a small dead zone at the neutral point...

Re: 1/24 scale 2.4g Magracing.

Hello Wes I really like the idea of 1/24 scale. I believe any car could be done in this scale with the magracing mechanisms. I also think this scale is particularly suited to outdoor racing. One downside with outdoor tracks I can see is the potential to rust the guide wire. Nickel wire however doesn...

Re: Latest News from Magnetic Racing

We have been doing our very best to promote magracing to the wider community. We had a stand at the Gaydon Slot Car Festival on the 19th - 20th May. This is a 2 day event and the largest in the UK and was the first time we had shown off the cars running around a small rally track to the general publ...
