Re: New ESC from Bangood

Hello Wes, I'm only just catching up with the Forum and noticed your 1:24 scale chassis incorporating the ECS from Bangood. Very Impressed. I do realise this is only a prototype but I do think you are on the right track with this one. I'll keep an eye on the Forum now to see if this develops. Coinci...

Re: 1/24 scale overview.

Hello Ned, Thank you for your email. Your offer of help is most appreciated. I've browsed through the link you sent me and am mighty impressed at the amount of time and thought you have put into the chassis and component parts required to assemble a Mag Car. As I've mentioned, I have very little bac...

Re: 1/24 scale overview.

Hi Kim, Thanks for your interest. I've recently retired and now have a little more time on my hands. I bought one of the early mag racers from Wes, followed the instructions and built a test track. It all work beautifully but I never seemed to be able to find the time to build a proper track. I've r...

Re: 1/24 scale overview.

Hello Wes, As I've managed to get my my 2013 McLaren chassis running and I just happened to look at the Magracing Forum and see a new post from yourself. I've started building a new track and was wondering where on earth I could get some more cars and hand controllers to use on it. Unfortunately I h...

Re: New MagRacing track

Hi Kilko
I've tried to send Wes a PM but it doesn't seemed to have
gone. Probably me, incompetent with age.

However I did find an email address going back seven years and sent
Wes a message and it hasn't bounced back so I hope it went ok.

Re: New MagRacing track

Hello Wes,
Replacement pinions - This is good news.

It's probably not wise to put my home address on the Forum and I can't find your contact details.
Perhaps you might still have my details?

Re: New MagRacing track

Hi Kiklo It's good to see some Magracing activity out there. Now I've retired properly, I'd very much like to get back into the hobby but I can't see a way forward without the easy availability of new cars and replacement parts to keep them running. I currently have a Magracing McLaren (circa 2013) ...

Re: Availability of Cars

Hi Ned,
Wow!
You've done a cracking job on that. It looks great.
I've now found all my Magracing parts and my old test track in the loft,
so tomorrow I'll start figuring out how to re-assemble it to confirm
everything still works.

For now,

Jim

Re: Availability of Cars

Hi HF Thanks for replying so promptly. It's encouraging that that you have taken this up. I'll look forward to future developments. I'll be looking to find highly detailed bodies to fit your new chassis, particually Le Mans cars, so any help or suggested suppliers of these will be most welcome. I'll...

Re: track building

Re: Neds Post 30th Oct 18 What a sensible and balanced post. Ned, you put into words exactly my issue with the cars - lack of the ability to obtain the highly detailed bodies as offered by brands like Slot it etc.. Having recently retired I was thinking about taking up Magracing again as my hobby bu...
