Re: Is anybody out there?

Great pics! Unfortunate that someone more local could not take interest in the track. Again thanks for all your contributions to the hobby, and I will look out for your email. I know I mentioned before how I like the cyclekart, an interesting and out-of-the-box kind of project. It looks really very ...

Re: Is anybody out there?

Wes, This was a fantastic idea and really captured the imagination of many hobbyists, myself included. I bought a few cars and built a small track and it was simple enough and interesting. I have built routed wood slot car tracks and scratchbuilt slot cars - and by comparison, this was very easy. Th...

Re: Latest News from Magnetic Racing

My portable scale 1/4 mile oval motordrome has been in storage for 2 years. Have 13 stockcars of 70s vintage that use the original chassis. will set up this summer . Excited about the new S01 adjustable chassis. Are there any pics of these cars/track? I didn't see any posted - I may have missed the...

Re: Anyone wanna take over the fora?

Thanks for all your work on this fledgling hobby and useful forum - I still feel it has a lot of promise. I guess you will continue selling cars on ebay from time to time? I also suffer from too many interests and not enough hobby time. Sorry I can not help, but I offer appreciation. Thanks again, Ron

Re: Latest News from Magnetic Racing

Great, thanks - I sent an email!

Sorry I didn't see the post until now.

Which radio would you recommend I purchase to best work with these cars?

Thanks!

Re: Oval test track (go kart track) 4' by 8' - New York

Five years out I still have the track (in a basement storage room).

I would love to try the new generation chassis - if there a way to order or preorder one of these to test?

Re: Oval Track Builds Show Them Here

Nicely built track and good video Ken. Are you talking about my test track video link (I originally posted to another thread in this forum) - or did I miss a video or something? I am not Ken, but I am trying to follow along... And I am still hoping to see pix/video of 'goatdope's 8' by 16' setup - ...

Re: Oval Track Builds Show Them Here

goatdope - This 8' by 16' oval sounds *just right*. You have to grab someone with a smart phone or something to take pix, or even some video. I really want to see how a larger purpose-built large oval runs with this system. Here is a link to my small test track from the "My Track" section...

Re: 'Routing the Keld method' (Dremel saw)

... I see "vintage 1/24" made an awesome bullring oval w/ the Keid method... What switching method did you use? Hoping to save a ton of time in trial and error... I'm willing to learn. I answered your IM but in case you missed it:- The Demel Cuttoff saw, with the 1/4" MDF glued to it...
