The problem with protected batteries are shown in the picture. They are fragile when you 'undress' them. At least the one I have tried. The beauty off the Magracing battery setup is it can not short-circuit. So ther are no need for protection. OK, you can drain them dead if you leave the battery in...

Super neat, Kim. It will be a big help in building the chassis I just received! I am about to order the Tx/Rx you mentioned (as noted below) but haven't been able to determine what the best ESC would be for that receiver and the motor you included in my chassis order. What would you suggest? Flysky ...
