Re: Sorry for the downtime
Keld, Thought you might want to know that the topic "Best Clearance Between Steering Magnet and Track Surface" has disappeared. There were several posts on this topic in early November 2014. When I search on the term "best" I find many references to Post subject: Re: Best Clearan...

Re: Just to find out if it works: 1/24 scratch build chassis
Do you think that the front-end shimmy, "dancing", with the original front tires was due to those tires being out of round or due to those rather wide wheels and tires wobbling on the front axles?

Re: Just to find out if it works: 1/24 scratch build chassis
Did using O rings for the front tires eliminate the front end shimmy? In other words, did it eliminate the dancing of the front wheels?

Re: change of rear axle
I am new to all of this I was wondering if silicon tire would work? A lot of things can be used to increase the traction of the plastic wheels that come with the cars sold by Wes R. One of the best is Grease Monkey Large Black Disposable Nitrile Gloves. See http://www.magracingforum.com/viewtopic.p...

Very interesting. Please keep us posted.
Would like to know if Jens (Kellerkind) finished his 1/24 scale magracer chassis for his beautiful Ferrari 512S Berlinetta.

Re: rear axle bearing
Rex
Good idea. Do you operate your cars in a dusty/abrasive environment?
What are the specs of the bearings?
Do you know where I could buy some?

Re: Magracing - where now?
When all factors are considered, I'm not in a position to know whether the CR123A size or the AAA size rechargeable battery is best for 1:32 magracers, which is the scale I find most appealing. For Wes and others making decisions concerning batteries I do want you to know the following concerning 10...

Re: Materials, Tools, and Techniques for Outdoor Track
Since my last post about 3 weeks ago, we have had a lot of rain, some of it heavy, with higher humidity in the morning and lower temperatures. The track has been wet with dew every morning with no signs of rust or any other wear. The track seems to be holding up well and it is easy to clean when dry...
