Sorry if I was unclear. The electric motor is notorious for it's exponential power draw. Thus it draws a lot more in rough going than straight and level. A lot more than is warranted, so to speak. A seemingly not that steep climb can easily empty the cells. Perhaps most easily shown if you happen to...

I was an avid fan of Bruce's work until recently.

His new bodies are vac'd on prototype prints and as he doesn't clean them up first these new bodies look like mackerels.

He says it wont be seen once painted. But at least I want my windows unpainted... And yes, it shows painted too.
