Got the Trustfire WF-38B charger and 10440 batteries. Thought 3 of the 4 cells were bad because when they were put in the charger the light flashed red. :think Looks like the switches marked as A by Ravajack are the left and right turn switches and the B switch is to shut off the battery when the trigger is released.

Hi Ravajack, From the web site: Transmitter. The pistol type transmitter can be easily opened and it's design is simple. A diode is fitted to save damage from an incorrectly fitted battery. Thank you for the info Keld. Looking forward to cars arriving some time this coming week. Hope the batteries and charger get here also. To darn cold out side right now to go get track supplies, have to wait for a break in the weather. I really DON'T like when it gets below 0C.

My plans are to use .035 E70S6 weld wire, there is some in the scrap bin at work. Free is good. That's one of the nice things about this venue, if it don't work, rip it out and start over. I'll go back and get some .030. Doesn't look like a lot of work involved. But my end goal is to run 1:24. "...

How far? The web site only states, " Range is adequate with antennae of only 90mm easily hidden within the cars.". 15Meter?

I scratch build cars in a larger scale and would also like to buy just certain components. The receiver being 1 of those components.
