Francisco, from Spain

Post by franjy »

Hi, I am Francisco, from Spain.

I discovered MagRacing a month ago. That's a great idea, and it seems to works very well and be funny.

I would like to purchase some cars and transmitters to make my own track, but unfortunattely, WesR tells me that do not have stock, so I have to wait for it :( (Wes, when do you think they will be available?)

To work in the right direction, i have a question: what minimum radius do you recommend for race lines?

Thanks.
P.D. Sorry about my poor english ;)

The cars can slowly navigate an 8" radius slightly banked curve but I would recommend a minimum 9" for the inside lane and 13" for the outside lane. The minimum radius is partly dependent upon the traction between the tires and track surface as well as the distance between the steel wire embed in the track and the steering magnet between the front wheels.
What do the rest of you guys think? Does anyone have a track with a turn which has a radius less than 8"?
