Preparing the battery for the car

Post by simon »

The car is getting the power from the battery, but not from the poles, + is from the top as normal, but - is from the side of the battery, therefore it is necessary to remove some of the plastic from the battery.

Use a sharp cutter/knife and cut approximate 10 mm from the bottom to remove the plastic.

received a new bunch of batteries today

:x    42,99 mm long
the old ones are 43,69 mm

same type Trustfire 10440

that gave a problem in some of the controllers, the battery fall out or it didn't work at all, now we has to fix the controllers to handle these or mark them for cars only, where there are no problem.

so fellow MAGracers, take notice if the batteries are same length. :!:

Merry X-mas lads
