Nice beginning to your mag layout oldslotracer.
Like the flow of your track looks like it will be a fun and technical type track.

Are you going to do a step by step picture build so we can follow along?

Very smart, just to make a video from the same point, several times. Briliant Luf!
I also are full of influense by the multipel choise that you have made .
I guess that we all have something to learn of this, just to break out a small portions of your track and test it!
Thanks again says Lasp ;-)

Great job!!! Image
Looking forward to see it painted and fully dressed up. Image
Any chance to see a detailed drawing/plan of this intricate two-way-drive layout? Image

Looking really good Luf, congratulation.

How wide are the road?

The Esses seems to be very good with the raised corners, I must copy that 8-)

Ravajack...I think that video clip shows where all the lane changes are. Three along the straight, plus the pit entry, (on the center section) and one on each outside section. The rest are racing lines that don't change lanes. There's also an over-run lane at the end of the straight going clockwise. All have lane change plates at each end so we can run the track in either direction.

Keld...the lane spacing is 4" and I will be painting the pavement about 7" wide with lots of gravel shoulders

I now have 6 cars but only enough batteries to run 1 car!

Just a question,

Could you please show me how you did the lane change plates so you could run both directions?

Thank you very much.

The lane change plates are installed exactly as shown on Wes' website, except there's one at each end.
Just make sure you're not steering when you drive across the plate meant for the other direction.

I'm not spending much time or effort on finishing this track because I'll probably be building another one in a couple of months. I'm sure after running it for a while there'll be many things I'll do differently.

I made a simple set-up board to be able to adjust the magnet height on all the cars...
