normaly my timecounter is for rc cars. they have no lines and the receivers have to read the whole track, dont matters were the car passes.so it have to get space sideways and not in the drive direction. on my receivers are arrows, and i installed them in this direction,so the led are side by side. works perfect, not one failure. best efect is the car runs right between the led.

I didn't get to work on my track, but I did build my start/finish line structure. I plan on putting this over top of the two Infrared receivers that are included in my track counter.

Photos included.

I bought these via eBay - from a buy in Turkey - took a long time to ship - but was worth the wait!

Sorry I have not posted anything on this forum, in a while!

I have not been working on my track for two reasons:

1. I have spent time on a major home improvement - which for my wife - has a higher priority than the track.

Here's a quick video of my latest project that I built:

https://youtu.be/JpNFZShT34g

2. Now that I'm done with this project, it is getting too hot to work in my garage here in southern Arizona. I'm planning on installing an air conditioner, but not for a while.

I will get back to completing my track and posting progress!

I have been away from this hobby far too long. I've been working on remodeling projects and other things that have taken up my time. Now that I have an A/C unit installed in my garage I'll be able to work on my track even when it is 110 deg F (43 deg C) outside. We just got both of our HVAC systems replaced which were about to blow up and while the contractor was at it, I had him install an A/C-Heater unit in my garage. I'm redecorating the entire garage to be a race theme - so the MAGracing track will fit in nicely. See attached.

Thanks! I still have so much to do before it is complete - so the track will have to take a back seat until I get everything there done. I've had this on my "to do" list for over a decade - better late than never!

I am still putting the final touches on our garage - once that is done I can get back to completing my stow away MagRacing setup. Sorry this is taking so long! Once it is done - the location will be perfect for my race track!

I can now get back to working on my track after a long hiatus!

I completed my garage. Now I have the perfect venue to race cars on my track.

You can see my stow away MagRacing track on the left hand side of the garage.

Enjoy!
