Contact Greenweld

Post by BriG »

Does anyone know if Greenweld in the UK is still in business?

I'm trying to purchase some bronze spring strip as used in Ned's chassis for battery contacts. I've sent three e-mails with no response. They say to e-mail them with any questions.

Thanks

I assume they are still in business. Their website is still up. Here is the page for the bronze strip just in case you didn't find it yet.

I have never ordered anything from them but Wes Raynor has. Maybe they are on holiday as they say in the UK. You might need to call them. Per their website, the number is 01992 452980 . Please let us know what you find out.

Well, Greenweld is in business after all.

The e-mails I sent must have ended up as spam, but I did call and sent another to the following address and did get a reply:

chris.knight@permex.co.uk

Just a note, they are closed for the holidays until Jan. 3rd.

And just a question Ned,

The link you provided and part number CDT0091 was for brass spring strip, not bronze which is CDT0090.

Which is the one you are using with your chassis, or which is the preferred to use. Either would probably work, I just don't want to get both.

Thanks

I am using bronze, CDT0090.
It works fine and I think it is best because it is a little thinner.
