Wire

Post by Nor Cal Mike »

The mig welding wire that Lasp shows is the most readily available in almost any local. I bought a roll of music wire from a seller on Ebay. It was actually listed as dulcimer wire in the auction. It wasn't expensive and one roll of wire will make a lot of magsteer tracks. As I mentioned before, I bought lane change plates from Wes at the time I ordered my cars. To support his fledging business, I would suggest that you do so as well. However just about any steel plate of about the same thickness will work. As a lark, I drove a bunch of JT21 sized staples in approximately the same sized area as the plate. My experiment worked!
