A lot of those bodies are usable IF you can find one to fit both the width and length of the chassis. The chassis is too wide to fit most 1/32 and too short to fit most saloons. As an illustration, I just got a 1/24 Maserati Tipo 61 body in the mail from Pattos Place today. The Tipo 61 is a smallish classic roadster from the early 1960's. The stock magsteer chassis just fits under the body widthwise. With some lengthening, this chassis will fit that 1/24 body but would not if it were 1/32. You also have to watch cars whose nose sections swoop down too low. The front axle beams will fowl many cars with low nose sections.

When you searching for a new bodie for your Magsteer (like that Word) you have to take in that the steering frontwheels often need more space round the wheel than a normal wheel.

Lasp, I think you will have a problem with the high weight on those bodies, but lets here what you find out.

Tanks for the thinking Keld.
I Will try, the original body is less then 10 gram, one off the other is 16 gram, and the heavest is 23 gram , but I can cut som interior.
The car itself is under 50 gr no batteri.
But I Will take advice and concentrate on track building and running cars before I do some more experiment.
But its all so fun, hard to stop thinking!
But I realy have make up My mind! It Will be MS. MagSteer.
Takening all nowledge first from WesR, then improvment, if possibly

this homemade Audi R8 lms in scale 1/24 build i carbon, incl. windows and this interior with driver, seatbelt etc. is only 16 gr. painted and 2 layer of clear coat (the helmet/head is resin, very heavy)
OK for fun racing back home anything can do, but if you want a tight competition it is important that all cars have the same weight.
