New french guy

Post by Pussywagon »

Hello everybody ! :call

I'm french and i will try to speak english correctly!
i would like to build a track for magracing in my garage! I inquired for slot racing but i didn't like the fact that it's not realist !

I think magracing concept is better than slot!

Before begining the construction i have few questions!

Which width for 3 lines race?

Can we make a bend in pin?
Which space its need between the 2 wires?
Which paint have to use on the covered in plaster ?

Could you post some pictures of various stages of your own constructions please?

Thanks !! 8-)

Could you answer to me in french please....... lol

Hi Sylvain, Sorry but if I write in French, you would not understand it! The width between the lanes/wires needs to be about 90mm. I don't understand why you want
3 lanes. This is not slot racing and you cannot have 3 lanes and the correct racing line.
Our photo of our starter track shows a simple racing line design with the wire ready for plastering.
Not sure what you mean by 'bend the pin'?
There are many photos on the website but I will attach the starter track now.
Best wishes, Wes R

Hello wes!
Thanks for your answer!

I wanted to make 3 lines in the start straight line for more realist start race ! But i think i'm going to build a simply first track!

By "bend the pin", i ( google translator....) would say "hairpin" or 180 degrees turn!

But i read in this forum , minimum radius is 160mm . Is it true?

Which paint can i use on covered in plaster?

I'm going to draw a track !

Thanks for help me! :thumpup

Good evening
