are there interiors on the cars, or just pictures where the windows should be?

Keld, The window decals are taken from photographs of real cars.

Hello Wes.
I am at the modelbau in Dortmund.
There are very few signs of car related too Slot or simular.
Wath i chan see and judge is that diorama and scenics view are important .
Soo how can I buy some Nascar kaross to My MR cars?

Hi Lasp and all, Well we could certainly provide some bodyshells and some sort of
home made decals ( although I believe Keld has Nascar decals).
The problem at the moment is that you need longer chassis (about 87mm).
We hope to make these eventually but we are finding that the heavier weight and
size and faster speeds means some changes must be made, both to cars and tracks. It has taken me several weeks to get my 4 prototype cars running to my satisfaction.
To eliminate 'shimmy' or fishtailing along the straights, I have replaced some of the
track wire with .036" (instead of the .028" wire)
We reduced the wire initially to allow the cars to cross it easily when being driven back onto the track and also to reduce cornering speeds but now perhaps this was a mistake as the cars will cross it ok and do run straighter and running straighter means better lane changing. If the cars are 'shimmying' at the lane change point, they may not
turn properly.
Also I am testing other methods of body mounting. It is important that the chassis is allowed to flex slightly. You will all have noticed that the cars always run better without the bodyshell fitted.
We now have to build at least 2 more cars and then have some serious race testing.
I have made many changes to the Oval track. Initially it had 3 lanes but now has
only 2 with the inner lane forming the pits entry and exit. I have viewed many
Nascar videos and most racing uses only 2 lanes. There are only 2 lane changes and 1 racing line and the pit l/c. We will start with this very simple track, have some racing and see how it goes. Untill you have 6 cars running, it is difficult to know what is needed.
I will post a pic. and hopefully soon some video.

I will draw some details of lane changes etc. as soon as we feel we have got it right.

No, I don't have any 1/32 nascar decals in stock, but Patto does make many hundreds and shipping from Australia is fast, some times nder a week from ordering.

There is a fellow here in the states by the name of Jim Heller who makes a wide variety of Nascar decals. He sells on ebay. If you do a search of is name you will find his ebay store.

To Nor Cal Mike; My modular 1/4 mile track set up in the driveway on 6 saw horses, complete with outer wall and infield in just 2 hours. The sections are all the same being cut out of a 4x8 sheet of plywood. each has 1/2 a straight & 1/2 of a turn. The modules weigh around 20lb. I have some pictures, will post soon. After stashing it all in my shed, it only uses up about 80 cu. ft. There is plenty of room in a 2 car garage to set it up.
