When you plaster the track do you go over the wire?

Hello Maddog and welcome!

I use the wire as a hight for the tool.

Then, when yoy let it dry, use sandpaper! And get a topcoat of paint on the track.

I had to check the website to see if we had missed something but the section on
plastering seems to cover it pretty well.

Below is a close-up of a plastered track. As mentioned above and on the magracing website you should keep the track surface at the same height as the wires and as flat/level as possible.

Ok thank you for answering. I should be ordering my car and stuff soon! starting with a very very small oval to test my building skills.

its the right way to go, make a small test track to learn it.
