I don't like the plastic wheel on the rear axle, so I deside to change the complete rear axle. I bought my things at "umpfis Slotbox in German. see the pictures. :yes
Sorry for my bad english...

Looking good. Let us know how much slower the car is... That is if ? You could drill some holes in the chassis to get the weight back down... ;)

I don't think this will work.

Yes the plastic wheels are not the best, but if you put on spronge tires the grip will improve dramatic, and the the car will draw itself away from the magnetic wire in the track.
but lets see the result with a video from your track after change of tires.

Hi Keld,

it works well, I should make another video :thumpup . With the plastic wheels it wasn't possible to drive with little more speed. but now it works good. sometimes i loose the wire in the narrow curve, but than I'am realy to fast...

A lot of things can be used to increase the traction of the plastic wheels that come with the cars sold by Wes R.
One of the best is Grease Monkey Large Black Disposable Nitrile Gloves.

hello, i took 2,38 axles and hard rubbertyres (hardness 30)with alurims in the original dimensions from slot it. works very well, and with a drop of oil on the bearings from time to time the cars are only whispering. its unbelieveble how much lower the noise is.
