Hi everyone!.
Being a big fan of Drag Racing I just had to use MAGracing for Drag Racing in 1/24 scale.
I have so far made a test track and two test cars, here is some pictures of my Ford Escort MK2, a rebuild of a ESCI model car kit.
Still much to improve, but so far the car drives and stays on the track.

No there is a use for magracing that I never would have thought of. You car looks nice Sir! That looks like a red can MRRC motor. If so that thing is a monster in a slot car at 12v. What kind of voltage are you running in this car? What kind of batteries? Inquiring minds want to know these things

The setup:
I use a receiver to control a R/C relay switch, so it is full throttle

Batteries, I have used many different 4 x 3.7v / 4.2v Li-ion. I am still experimenting, but so far the results are good, I will soon put the car on my mini 4wd dyno and see how it performs

You are right about the motor, the can is a MRRC motor, but I have replaced the rotor with one of my custom ones from another build. I needed this can because of the mounting holes, the only can that could fit my motor brass mount.

My test track is now 3 x 120 cm. I have 3 test plates on the floor in my workspace.
For the surface if use the plaster method and I like it because it gives a very realistic track surface and with the right paint it looks great. The wire I use is a lot thicker, than what I use for circuit racing to get a strong grip.
I hope I find time in the weekend, then I will upload a video.
