Not totally happy with my old barrel motorpod I have done some changes.
Now a C shaped motorcontainer with a sliding mechanism giving 2-3 mm play/adjustment.
The C is strong enough to hold the motor thight and there are 'fences' to keep it from sliding sideways.
Should make it easier to use different gears.
The pod snaps inn and slide into place.

Re: KK-CH01-24scale-New-motorpod
Then I deceided to make a RearEngine version as well. (Motor behind the axle.) Should match a 911, Renault Alpine, NSU, VW Beetle etc.
IF you like them tailhappy....

Re: KK-CH01-24scale-New-motorpod
Hi Kim, I was looking at your new "motor pod" 1/24/scale. I admire your talent for functional design . That really looks good.
the rear motor setup is pretty cool also. I like the rear axle bushings. Some of my older mag racer chassis have excessive clearence
in the axle holes due to wear. good job, Ken

Re: KK-CH01-24scale-T30-T36-T40
Fitting T40 or T36 will give you a greater choice of ajusting speed to mach scale/track.
