Will 10400 batteries with PCB protection fit in the 1:24 chassis?

Re: Updated pictures on batteries and chagers I use.
Those I have made so far will not. But I can easily add 2mm to the battery box in the future. I will do.
If you use a Dremel you can cut out at the negativ pol to get them to fit.

Re: Updated pictures on batteries and chagers I use.
The problem with protected batteries are shown in the picture. They are fragile when you 'undress' them. At least the one I have tried.
The beauty off the Magracing battery setup is it can not short-circuit. So ther are no need for protection. OK, you can drain them dead if you leave the battery in at the end of the day but just don't.
Modern intellegent chargers will not damage the battery if you put them in the wrong way.

Re: Updated pictures on batteries and chagers I use.
If you need to use your Dremel to get the battery in it suggest you drill a 11 mm hole at the negative end. You then slide the battery inn from the side.
Then you will not compromise the structure og the chassis.
You will sacrifice the ability to bottomload the battery.

Just to make sure you don't miss it.
PROTECED cells are normally NOT with a magnetic + pole.
Thas is a showstopper. You will have to solder on something magnetic to get it to stick to the magnet at the +.
So go for non proteced cells for the car.
