Finally my track is in place with timing.

Going to list up the differeces I can detect.

These are the choosen.

Please add a comment on what is interesting to find out.

Running weight with battery in gram.
Still have to add 5 gr. at the 1:24 as present it is without my timing module.-- Comming soon.
Then I can start checking laptimes.

Do both cars have the same motor? The same gear ratio?
If the cars have the same motor and gear ratio, the 1/24 car should run faster at top speed, since it has bigger diameter tires. Of course that's true only if the motor provides enough power.
Lap speeds will be dependent upon the handling and acceleration characteristics of the cars. That is highly dependent on the car bodies.

I’d like to see a comparison of lap times with and without the bodies on the chassis.
I’d like to see a comparison of drag racing times, with and without the bodies atached.

They have the same motor and battery . And 8T pinion.

But spurgear are 30T for 1:32 and 36 or 40 T for the 1:24. The red one has 40T spurgear.

Yes I have been trying to find the best compromis: I think 38 T would be the closest calulating wheel size into it. I have not found it anywhere. Hence 36/40.

Handeling would depend gratly on tyres.
I use heat shrink tubing on the 1:32 and printed TPU, (Shore 95A) for the 1:24. Maybe I'll fit them both with the same and test - some day.

Just for the record.
The second version from the guys that took over Wes's production and made a short run 3D printed 1:32 kits - it clocks in at
80 gr.

So I think I can say my 1:24 is quite lean.
