During the winter I have tested different methods too build a track.
I just want too show some experiments.

like it , what about useing foam board with wire set into surface ?

Any issues with the cars traveling across the seams? If this works, there are some really inexpensive ping pong tables that fold up just like this. Could start a whole new trend here.

I use a soft material of 5mm and the sheets are 590mm x 790mm. Just for testing.
I use a wheel korrigated to make so place for the tread. Thats means that i get more area for glue. Before I put glue on the tread I straighten it by draging it betwen my fingers, take all tension away. The problem here is that I have to get another way of shaping the lane changing.
