They look so much better with the drivers Markus but what you need are drivers with flexible arms and the steering wheel connected to the front wheels so that the driver looks as if he is driving! I am sure you could do it Markus

That was to be my idea for my 1/8 scale r/c car I build many years ago. See following post.

This 1/8scale Maserati 8c, with a 3.5cc glow ignition motor, was one of my first radio controled projects. The driver was flexible but I never got round to connecting the steering wheel! It was intended as a commercial project and we made 500 sets of wheel parts but only 2 cars were ever built. We didn't complete the project because firstly r/c racers did not want to spend a lot of time building a realistic car, only to smash it up in it's first race and secondly we followed it up with an F.1. Stock car with an unbreakable steel chassis and designed for oval contact racing which was an immediate success and eventually sold around 25000 or more!

However, I don't think the same problems would apply to our lightweight 1/24 magracers. Much more robust and easy to repair.
